《NewWebPick》电子杂志推出的《Connection》特刊的理念：

为了建立和加大各国创意产业的知名度；展示各国的设计实力和促进国外读者对其他国家的文化、设计和设计师产生浓厚兴趣，并增加相互之间的了解；为读者创造和汇集有价值的艺术品。

“Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.”这是圣经中关于”Babel”的原文，语言被打乱了，每个国家都有着不同的语言，人们的交流和文化的沟通产生了障碍，但还有很多方式让人们可以交流，比如，图形……

每一期将会推出一个国家的设计作品，会相继推出不同国家的设计作品。其中内容大概包含了：图形图像设计、工业设计、网页设计、建筑与空间、插图、UI、Flash、数码摄影、实验艺术等方面的作品。所以，《Connection》无需太多的语言，只要你有无边无际的古怪创意和想法，文化的沟通、联系将是无国界的。
